As a first-generation American, Dr. Voto is acutely aware of the importance of precise communication in the medical setting for both English and non-English-speaking patients, particularly regarding patient education. Dr. Voto has addressed this by utilizing state-of-the-art technology during each clinic visit. By using large video monitors in each exam room, she can:

  • teach patients by providing high-definition video instructions about their medical diagnosis
  • more easily review medical records and imaging with patients
  • transparently document within the patient's electronic medical record
